We are a sea rowing club based in Plymouth, Devon, England. We were formed in April 2003.
The key members are experienced river rowers, and qualified coaches with excellent rowing contacts within the South West of England & Europe.

We are the creators and organisers of the annual Eddystone Challenge, a 40 kilometre open sea race

In the autumn of 2007 we were awarded the 2009 World Coastal Rowing Championships. These will be hosted by us and held in Plymouth Sound between 23rd and 25th of October 2009.

We are co-located with the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Rowing Club at the Turnchapel Boathouse, Plymouth, England. This offers excellent storage, maintenance and launching facilities and is only some 500metres from our Social Headquarters at the Clovelly Bay Inn (GPS: Lat:50:21:28N, Lon:4:07:08W).
