About the club :

Mayflower Offshore Rowing Club is a sea rowing club based in Turnchapel, Plymouth, Devon, England. We were formed in April 2003.

The key members of the club are experienced in both fine boats and sea boats, and ARA qualified coaches with excellent rowing contacts within the South of England & Europe.

Mayflower created and now organises of the annual Breakwater Challenge, an 8 kilometre sea race within Plymouth Sound and the world renowned Eddystone Challenge, a 40 kilometre open sea race to the Eddystone Lighthouse in the English Channel and back. These races are international and open to all sea boat classes. They are held in May and August respectively.
